Cowboys in Tombstone . . .
This is a pile of silver, I was expecting it to look all sparkly but it is a big process to get this stuff to look like the silver in our coins!
Brian, Heidi and Bridget in the "Rotunda" of the "Good Enough" mine. It is a big open space that was once filled with silver. After the silver was taken from the mine a big beautiful "room" was left.
Jenny, Hailey, Ian, Bridget and Amy in the mine . . .
Hailey-striking a pose in Madera . . .
Bridget and Ian having fun exploring!
Bridget and Jenny-what beautiful girls!
We had a wonderful spring break with the kiddos! We decided to stay pretty local and enjoy day trips.
Monday we enjoyed some cold rainy weather, Hailey go to sew with Grandma Marsha!
Tuesday we enjoyed a journey to Tombstone. What a neat town! We enjoyed a cowboy show and a tour of the "Good Enough" mine where they mined silver in the 1880's. In fact, most of the silver mined there was bought by the government and used to make Morgan silver dollars. On the way home we stopped for some ice-cream cones in Benson.
Wednesday we played at Pump it up and enjoyed pizza and soda at Costco for lunch.
Thursday we played at home and took it easy.
Friday we hung out and the kids played at Sharon's in the afternoon.

Saturday we went for a hike in Madera Canyon. It was a beautiful morning and we had a lovely time hiking and exploring and enjoyed the beauty of the canyon and being together as a family!
